Brush Lettering Workshop - Atiliay.com

Thank you Marilyn, Rhea, Sandra, and Briana for joining me at this Sunday Funday workshop! This was such a wonderful group and I loved that we all had a chance to truly make a connection with one another. Everyone was open to learning something new, making new friends, and having fun! A special thank you to Kari for hosting us in her lovely space and for the yummy refreshments! PS: I was really excited to hear that Rhea had been following me on Instagram and she recently moved from up north to Los Angeles so was finally able to take a workshop! How awesome is that?? It was very special to me!

Brush Lettering Workshop - Atiliay.com

I was excited to be back teaching at Penelope Lane Boutique! PLB is a pop up modern craft show featuring local makers, artists, musicians, and more. I got to set up on stage in one of the rooms to host 2 workshops that day! Thank you Nicole, Michelle, David, Muhammad, Taylor, and Sheryl for joining me during the morning session! What I love about brush lettering workshops is that it brings people together of all different backgrounds and ages thanks to our shared interest of art and typography. Everyone did such a great job and it was so much fun getting to know you!  A big thank you to Stephanie for all her hard work putting this how show together and coordinating everything!

I got to spend my afternoon with Bonnie, Ashley, Connie, Amy, Valerie, Ashley, Mai, and Regina for the second brush lettering workshop of the day! A special thank you to Vanessa who came to a workshop last month and told Ashley about it and it was so nice to meet Regina in real life since we had been messaging on IG :) Thank you for joining me and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

4.28.19 | THE POTTING SHED | ORANGE

Brush Lettering Workshop - Atiliay.com

This was my first time teaching a part 2 workshop at The Potting Shed! It was great seeing Theresa, Carrie, and Debra again and watching them add on to their lettering! It’s really such a joy to be able to see their lettering journey and be a part of it. We had such great conversation and had the chance to get into all the details and nuances that come with growing your lettering skills and developing your style. Thank you for joining me for the second time and I hope our paths cross again in the future! PS: Jeannie and Gabby, you ladies were missed but I hope to see you very soon!
