I was recently helping my boyfriend, Justin, get his bullet journal started (yes, he is jumping on the bandwagon!) and came across a “habit tracker” page that I saw many people included in their journals. I love the idea of bullet journals once I understood how they worked and I love looking at some of the beautiful and detailed spreads people create for theirs! However, it just isn’t for me–if I were to start one, it’d be more of an art project than utilizing it as a to-do list or to jot down notes. But I think the idea of tracking your habits is great! Not only is it fun to X or color each square in, it is totally motivating (at least for me) to want to complete the entire row. It also sort of acts as a to-do list since it reminds me of the daily tasks I’d like to complete before I go to bed. So instead of creating a whole journal, I just created a habit tracker page that I wanted to share with you. I hope you find it as useful as I have!
How it works:
1. Circle, highlight, or shade in the current month.
2. Write down each habit you’d like to track in the boxes in the first column.
3. The numbers across the top represent each day of the month.
4. Everyday, color in the box associated with that day for every habit you complete.
That’s it! You can also designate the amount you would like for each habit. For example, my goal is to go to my Bounce workout class at least 5 times per month so I have added that to the tracker to remind myself that row only needs to have 5 colored boxes at the end of the month.
